The house
Il Ciabot di Rosa is a small, bright, independent house designed for two, surrounded by the green hills of the Piedmont Langhe.
An intimate, refined place, furnished with love, where every detail has been carefully chosen to offer beauty, comfort and harmony. Each piece of furniture tells a story, balancing tradition and contemporary charm.
Inside, a single spacious room combines living and sleeping areas, with a separate bathroom. The living area opens onto the garden and the covered porch, where you can eat outdoors at any time of day, from breakfast to dinner.
The garden
The well-kept garden completely surrounds the Ciabot, ensuring total independence and privacy. Every season brings different blooms, and two sun loungers await you for reading in the shade of a tree or soaking up the sun.
From 1 June to 30 September a heated hot tub is available, for romantic soaks, even at night under the stars.
Pets are welcome at Il Ciabot di Rosa. We only ask that you don’t leave them alone on the property, for their safety and out of respect for the surroundings.

The Ciabot is the ideal base for discovering the most fascinating places in the Langhe and Piedmont: ancient villages, hills, vineyards and unforgettable flavours, all within a day trip. And in the evening you come home to the quiet of your own garden.

Piedmont’s capital, with its splendid Baroque architecture, great museums, Porta Palazzo, the largest open-air market in Europe, and the Balon, the historic flea market. A day in the city, then back to the quiet of your garden in the evening.
Beaches and seaside villages for a day at the sea, then back to the hills at sunset. Few places offer hills, wine and truffles on one side and the Mediterranean on the other.

9 minutes from the Ciabot
For golf lovers, the Ciabot is an ideal base: Golf Club Cherasco is just 9 minutes away. An 18-hole, par 72 course designed by architect Marco Croze, suitable for players of all levels, at the foot of Cherasco between the Langhe and the Alps.
The club house has a restaurant and bar serving traditional Piedmontese food. Booking is required to play: we will gladly give you all the details.

On request we will put you in touch with our trusted trifolao (truffle hunter), who will take you into the woods with his dogs. Your dogs are welcome too, if they are well-behaved.
You can also buy a fresh truffle, to enjoy during your stay or take home.
There are countless wineries in the area. We suggest starting with a broader tasting at a cooperative winery, such as the Cantina Sociale di La Morra, and then visiting the one you liked best.
At dawn, as the sun touches the hills and the castles turn golden, the landscape opens up beneath you in absolute silence. Flights depart from several places in the area, including Barolo and Mondovì.
A few minutes from the Ciabot, a historic artisan chocolate maker where you can join small guided tastings.
Five or six times a year Cherasco hosts one of the most renowned antiques markets in Italy. In Turin you’ll find Porta Palazzo, the largest open-air market in Europe, and the Balon in Borgo Dora, the historic flea market.
On the second Sunday of the month in Fossano and the last Sunday in Cuneo: the small-animal markets.
Trails through hazelnut groves, vineyards and hills: you’ll find leaflets with itineraries in the house, and up-to-date maps on visitlmr.it. E-bikes can be rented with delivery to the Ciabot; for routes we recommend the Bar to Bar circuit.

The Michele e Pietro Ferrero Hospital in Verduno, the main hospital for Alba and Bra, is 15 minutes from the Ciabot.
If a family member is in hospital and you are looking for a quiet place to stay nearby, even for a month or more, the Ciabot can become your home: independent, with an equipped kitchen, washing machine and parking, and a garden where you can find a little peace at the end of the day.
